Moving abroad with UK credit card, is it legal?

I will be moving to Oz soon & I have applied to get a balance transfer for one credit card & applied to a second so I can purchase the flights (both cards @ 0% interest). The flights will be reimbursed to my bank account & I'll have set up direct debits to pay minimum balance for a few months until I save enough to pay it all off. My wage out there will be approx £47k so I will be able to make repayments.
Credit card terms & conditions indicate that I must inform the companies of any changes to my address etc & I am worried that I will be denied use of the cards on the basis of being a 'flight risk' or something to that effect. Surely having direct debits set up will demonstrate that I am in a position to repay?

I am currently living abroad and have a UK credit card and deal with everything by direct debit and online statement but I still have an address in the UK which my post goes to.0

But generally speaking, is it legal ??
Is many bank allow does ....???
With European mobility venture, I fully believe there are many people have bank a/c and CC in several countries within Europe.0 -
It just comes down to T+Cs.
As part of the application process you are often representing that you live in the UK. If you do not then it is a fraud. Having a UK address to handle your post is not sufficient if you do not live in the UK or put that address down as your residential address when you don't reside there.
Once you have a card, then again it is down the T+Cs. If they require you to tell them your new address if you move, then this is what you must do. If you fail to do this, then technically you are probably committing a fraud (as well as breaching the T+Cs). But if they just ask for any change of "contact address" or "address" then you are probably OK.
When I was in the same situation the wording of the T+Cs were sufficiently vague that I didn't worry about it and I just maintained my usual UK address as a contact. A colleague gave Barclaycard a foreign address and they were happy with that. This was a few years ago now.0 -
thanks guys, I was hoping that the wording of the T & C's would be general enough to allow the move.0

It is unlikely that the credit card company would accept a foriegn address. However, if you still have a UK address (parents?) that you can use, the credit card company will probably not find out unless something brings it to their attention such as you not making payments.0

I recently returned after working in Africa for two years. I maintained my UK credit cards and gave some of them my address abroad. Not problem, although I was not using them to borrow and had held the accounts for some time.0
