warmfront boiler

hello
i am new on here. My sister (who has disabilities) has just been told after nearly a year that warmfront will fit her a new boiler next week. i have read some horror stories here especially about IDEAL isar/icos boilers. It is very off-putting but we cannot afford to put one privately. The boiler there is more than 15 years old.
CAn we ask to have a better boiler put in and pay the difference??? I read somewhere that this can be done.. but have gone through so many sites not sure where. The installer's number is in Norwich and i will call them tomorrow for first time. I live abroad and my sister is not up to making calls or checking installers, she does not even have a computer. I am arriving on the day they will instal but can ask them to come a day later so i can check what they are doing. Or should i cancel whole thing? Any advice and good stories welcome..:A

We had an Ideal fitted by Warmfront 3 years ago and it's still going strong. No probs so far.0
