My worst Gift Offers ??????

For two years I collected Nescafe Coffee Beans. This year I submitted 42 along with cheque for postal charges only to find that the promotion had been discontinued the very year I received my Bean Card. Yet the jars have been displaying these beans and nowhere on my card was there an "End now" date.
When I was told to visit the website I was given 14 "beans" as "compensation". These could be redeemed for various items . I checked these out only to discover that the offers didn't need any beans ; they were open to all on their own websites. (eg free month with postal DVD's).
Nestle didn't even offer a 10p coupon as compensation!
Guess it was my fault but for a very large company I thought their customer service very poor. (not their staff, I hasten to add, as they were polite and professional when I telephoned them, as instructed).
Has anyone else had a similar experience with another company?
