Just a short one but thought I'd give a mention to Sony.
Laptop wouldn't turn on one morning, called them up to let them know and told they could send a courier whenever I was free.
UPS came on Monday at 3:50 to collect the laptop, just received it back repaired today at 1:10! Less than 48 hours.
They even buffed the scratches out of the casing and managed to keep my user data!
5 Star's for Sony Vaio repairs they've made a customer for life!

Some years back I bought a Sony LCD monitor and it went wrong.
Sony initially refused to replace it, but eventually took it away to repair it and loaned me an inferior model in the interim.
After many calls, they eventually said they couldn't fix it and gave me a replacement one.
I've tried to avoid Sony kit since (the only aberration being PSPs for my kids a while back).0
