Charity Cook Book
Options
Hi all,
I am currently in the process of compiling a cookbook which I aim to sell to raise funds for my local cancer treatment centre, the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.
My question is, would any companies sponsor it to help cover the printing costs or would any printing companies offer a substantial discount on cost?
Has anyone tried this before?
Thanks,
David

They might, but I suspect they are more likely to do so if approached 'officially' by the charity rather than by an individual supporter, unless you have a personal relationship with a printer (or a friend of a friend of a friend relationship!)
And just checking, do the charity know you are doing this, because if you are fundraising in their name they NEED to know, especially with something like this.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
thats a great idea and a fab way of making money - if you contact the local printers and explain they may offer to print for free or at a reduced rate. Hope its a great succcess for you and you raise loads!!Comp Wins 2011 : Cant wait to start listing everything:j:j:j0
