Worth getting a DSI XL?

Hi I'm just wondering if you think it's still worth getting a DSI XL or not now the 3DS is out? I'm not that bothered about 3D and the larger screen appeals to me.. I just wondered if they still make games for the DSI and if it will be awhile before it's too "outdated" if you know what I mean?

Would get a 3DS which was £120 in Tesco and Amazon today and is still DS and DSi software compliant

Yeah but I'm not keen on the little screen..

The DSI XL is the same price too but 3DS is future proof.

From what I understand the DSI XL has a much better battery life than the 3DS, so if that will be a factor for you take it into consideration. The DS has a pretty large back catalogue of games and they'll be available for a long time to come, so even if newer games are 3DS only you'll still have plenty of games to keep you going

It's down to preference - obviously with the XL you won't be able to play the latest games, like the new Mario Kart

Go for the xl......the price of the 3d has gone down because they have not taken off, you just end up with a banging headache...i use my sons xl all the time and think it is 1st class.

Hi - it is down to preference - my daughter had the xl and won a 3DS, she complained of it hurting her eyes & went back to the XL.
