Partial Refunds - yes or no?

    well thats a gamble if you think they are lying offer to pay the return postage and see what happens
    Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.

    I'd say that you will refund the return postage when you recieve it back. How did you charge for p&P? Was it the dearest item, then 50p off each of the other items, or did you re-weigh & recalculate?

    I don't do partials if the buyer asks for one. I would rather buyers state the problems and I will then offer a solution. I'm always a bit suspicious of buyers who immediately demand a partial.

    If the item is really cheap I have in the past refunded the full amount and let them keep the item as its not worth the hassle of the return. I know if as a buyer i was made to return some cheap item it would annoy me having to go to the PO for some item worth a couple of pounds.

  • I have just given in and partially refunded £8 (approx half) as I felt he was getting hostile adn was most persistent and tbh there is enough hostility in my world atm! :( I believe in Karma though so here's hoping ;)!

    No f/b as of yet- will watch with interest.

    It's the DSR's that can do more damage if he hits them with low marks across the board.
    Buyers will sometimes leave a positive & then bash the stars.
    Someone did get theirs removed in the last couple of days, so keep an eye on them.
