He still wants the item but would like a 'small' refund as it will cost him to return!
What to do?

well thats a gamble if you think they are lying offer to pay the return postage and see what happensEveryones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -
I'd say that you will refund the return postage when you recieve it back. How did you charge for p&P? Was it the dearest item, then 50p off each of the other items, or did you re-weigh & recalculate?0

I don't do partials if the buyer asks for one. I would rather buyers state the problems and I will then offer a solution. I'm always a bit suspicious of buyers who immediately demand a partial.
If the item is really cheap I have in the past refunded the full amount and let them keep the item as its not worth the hassle of the return. I know if as a buyer i was made to return some cheap item it would annoy me having to go to the PO for some item worth a couple of pounds.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

It's the DSR's that can do more damage if he hits them with low marks across the board.
Buyers will sometimes leave a positive & then bash the stars.
Someone did get theirs removed in the last couple of days, so keep an eye on them.0
