Advice Please.............got a result???

Hi there
I went to a claim company after successfully getting money back for my father regards PPI - it took less than 8 weeks.

I decided to put 3 claims in and to be honest it has been a long winded process, I put the claim in on 17th January 2011

It has been

Me chasing it.
Me contacting the banks direct
Email/called Third Party (Company to help claim back charges) - Promised a call back nothing

When I do call they said they tried to call me.

I even found out today that they still havent sent forms back that I sent to the third party company to forward onto the FOS as originally i didnt have the paperwork hence more info was required to which I completed and sent this back in May!

Anyway.....
Today I get a letter from Lloyds with an offer, :T I call them and they tell me that a letter has also gone to the third party.

Dont want to sound ungrateful, it was a nice surprise to say the least, am open to your replies, but my arguement is that I dont see why this company is going to charge me their fee and when I have had to do all the work! I def havent got the service I signed up for .....
Any advice would be greatly recieved

Well done on the win,i am afraid you have signed a contract with this company and you will have to pay them.
you could contact them and tell them you think the fee is high as you practically did the claim yourself and with this in mind you will pay them for the actual work they have done and want a breakdown of this charge.
Dont know if you will get anywhere, but you can only try.

If you get no joy with them, ask who you send a complaint to regarding this for their company, and that you will be taking this to the claims management regulator.

You are better off trying to agree something with the claims co,court should be a last resort,as the company wont care what it costs them, you have signed a contract and you may end up paying their costs too !!,so get on the phone and give the company hell x.

All you do is phone the claims co and tell them what i said previous, you are not happy etc,if they wont give, then tell them you want the complaints phone number and address to put a complaint into their claims company.

If you get no joy doing this, then telephone the number i gave and tell them why you think the charge is extortionate for the small amount of work that they did,and you are not happy.
