I have Nero Vision Express 3 as part of Nero 6 reloaded on my XP machine. This is a bit slow and Nero 6 reloaded is not compatible with my Windows 7 machine.
Looking for suggestions for slide show creator, ideally free, but willing to pay a few quid if required.
What I want to do is to Create a DVD or SVCD and it must contain:
I've already tried Picasa (won't do DVDs) and DVD slideshow GUI (didn't work!)

What I want to do is to Create a DVD or SVCD and it must contain:
- A menu with several slide shows
- Menu fully customisable
- Each slide show to have background music
- Cross-fade etc. between slides
- Ability to add text to slides and Menu items
- Match individual slide show length automatically to music length
- Pan and zoom into slides
