Birmingham-Oxford rail commuting
Hello everyone. I live these days in Birmingham, not too far from New Street station. Have been offered a great job in Oxford. I'm looking for others' experiences of daily commuting using Crosscountry on this route. I really need to hear before I decide whether or not to accept the job. I spent nearly four years "commuting" (=daily battle of wits and patience) from Colchester to London, and decided I'd never subject myself to what I came to perceive as a life-ruining experience again. NXEA was pretty dreadful in every respect. Now, a big dilemma. I can't afford to move, don't drive, and have been offered a perfect job which means having to commute. If anyone else does this journey on a Mon-Fri basis, in early rush hour, and can share experiences, I'd really value your comments..
