Internet Explorer related problem

Ever since I updated Internet Explorer a few weeks ago (Version 7 or 8, don't know which), the scroll bar on the right hand side of the screen 'drifts' when I am scrolling through a page using my mouse scroll button.
Often the view drifts past what I want to look at and if I then change page, the drift will even continue on the new page. And sometimes I can't even get the drift to stop by clicking on the scroll bar and placing it where I want it.
Anyone got any idea what I can do about it, if anything?! It's really annoying.
Thanks in advance

Its probably easier to download and install firefox than to uninstall the drivers for the mouse.
If you want to all you have to do is click that link, click the big green button saying get firefox now and then run the program. Accept whatever it says and then you're ready to go.0
