Terms & Conditions

The competition starts on 15.08.2011 and the competition period is open to the first 2,000 entrants who successfully complete a postcard submission, (the recipient of the postcard must enter the unique code to complete the entry process).
For successful entry, ALL following steps must be completed:

2a. The full postcard submission must be completed, with a valid recipient's name, address and postcode. UK ONLY.

2b. Once the postcard has been received, the recipient must enter the unique code from the postcard (and a valid email address) into the NZ Apples Postcard Facebook tab.

The user will then be entered into the prize draw. The winning entrant will be chosen at random from the prize draw. Entrants must have read and understood the Terms and Conditions in order to enter the Competition.
All postcards will be sent via 1st Class Royal Mail Post. Apples From NZ cannot accept responsibility for any undelivered, lost, damaged or non-received postcards.
This promotion is open to UK residents only except employees and their immediate families of Apples from NZ, their agents and anyone else professionally connected to this promotion.
The competition is restricted to entrants aged 18 years and over.
It is only possible to enter this competition online. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Each entrant agrees to release Facebook completely from any responsibility for this promotion.
Once the competition has recorded 2,000 successful entries, one winning entrant will be selected and announced on facebook.com/ApplesfromNZ.
The winner will receive a weeklong trip to New Zealand (flights and accommodation bookings only). The trip is for the winner and a friend of choice. The winner will be notified by email to the email address they supply when they enter the promotion within a week of the competition closing date. If the winner does not respond to the notification email within 14 days of receipt or if they cannot be contacted within 14 days of receipt the promoter reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to withdraw prize entitlement and to award the prize to a substitute who will be drawn at the same time as the original. The same acceptance period will apply to the new winner. Any prize material will be delivered to the winner to the postal address they supply in response to the notification email.
The winner must confirm 2 suitable week options (dates) they would like for trip booking, within 14 days of accepting the prize by email. The dates selected must not clash with a public UK holiday. Booking details of the prize will be confirmed and organised for the winner by the promoter.
The winner (and friend) must have valid passports, qualifying the holders for international travel to New Zealand.
Entrants who have not won a Prize will not receive notification of the same. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive e-mail accounts, technical difficulties associated therewith, or the potential winner's failure to adequately monitor any e-mail address. Entrants should ensure that their e-mail account spam filters are set to permit e-mails from @outsideline.com to be delivered.

i think youre friend has to go on the FB page and do it cos they want their E-Mail or you do it for them,a bit daft i know

your friend will get an actual postcard in the post & then has to go onto facebook to enter the code so that your entry is complete is how I read it.
