  • Hi everyone.
I've a day off today which is just as well as feeling really rough. Had a really dicky tummy last night and feel sick, shaky, headache today. Annoying because I don't have time to be ill!
Sitting curled up on sofa drinking ginger tea and thinking about stuff I need to do. Was gonna bake but thats now out of window in case I pass germs on! I am however stretching one tea bag to 3 cups of tea.:D
I must pack up and go and post 2 Ebay packets this afternoon. ( might pack and ask OH to go and post for me when he get back from work)
Might go to mr T to exchange £5 voucher for £10 of dog food to fill their cupboard.
Might go to local cheapie shop for some plastic storage boxes for my crochet and embriodery threads. This is kinda MSE as they are all ramdomly stored in cardboard boxes, bags, sewing boxes etc. If I can get them all together and organised in a see through box or 2 I will be able to see which threads and colours I have rather than going and buying more! I'm a bit of a magpie with craft stuff and need to stop buying till my hoard has gone down somewhat. :o
Go to work on my bank job tonight 10pm till 10 am (sleep over so even if I feel rough I should manage)
Towels in wash will dry on line as sun is out.
Left over HM onion soup and apple crumble for OH's tea (I really don't feel like eating)
    Might tidy up.
    Might do college work.

Lot of 'mights' on list depending how afternoon progresses.

    Hello everyone,

Aria - Hope you feel better soon
DNMS - Ooh where are you going? Or is this your Brazil trip? Exciting stuff! How on earth do you get your hair cut for only £10?!
Candy - Why are your colleagues always so miserable? Must be horrible putting up with that everyday!
Josie - The vole story is hilarious! :rotfl:
Tebheag - Thanks for starting us off

I got my third star last night :) I've managed to stay fairly positive at work today due to a meeting with our biggest supplier taking so long! After lots of nerves it turned out to be ok, although I did have my supervisor there just incase I needed her help. We're due to meet in another month so hopefully by then there will be a lot less to go through & I will have impressed a few faces at having cleared items that a much more experienced colleague (who did something rather b1tchy today) could not clear. Hope Karma comes around soon as I'm getting fed up of her attitude, as are other colleagues!

    Anyway today's plan:-
    • [STRIKE]Used freebie deodorant that I am being paid to trial [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Used freebie moisturiser [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Food from stores [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Made use of free water at work[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Dinner from meal plan[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Check online banking[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Check for surveys[/STRIKE]
    • Enter comps
    • [STRIKE]Check ebay[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Charge phone via pc[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Work on our wedding website/other wedding related tasks[/STRIKE]
    • Check out flylady thread & do something!
    • [STRIKE]Read Martin's email[/STRIKE]
    • Take refillable water bottle to TKD tonight - should be grading next month so really need to work hard tonight - Sunk into a the complete opposite of thinking positive so didn't go :(
    • [STRIKE]Resist urge to buy new bag...despite my current one being broken! Must hold out until payday at least[/STRIKE]
    • Try to be a little more positive
Have a great, moneysaving day everyone x

    Today I have mostly:

    - complained to British Gas that my first bill on my new credit meter doesn't show the £30.20 that was left on the old PAYG meter. Account credited, £30.20 saved!
    - Opened a bingo account to get £10 quidco cashback and £45 free credit for a £10 deposit. Played through the £10 to meet wagering requirements, then played the free credit and won £24, which I've now withdrawn. £14 profit!
    - Walked to work, and will be walking home
    - Used a voucher for lunch - not quite no spend but only £3.
    - Phone charged at work.

    Hi everyone

Hope you've all had a good happy day!

    Today I have:
    Checked banking
    Checked credit card
    Checked TCB
Checked Paypal - fees still not paid, grr!
Breakfast, lunch and tea from stores
Chopped up a load of face wipes and stored them in a glass jar - I barely use any makeup and hate wasting a whole wipe on two streaks of mascara!
Signed me and the other half up to the £10 train ticket deal from the weekly email this morning :money: and told a non-MSE friend too (and signed her up to the newsletter!)
My turn to drive this morning - drove carefully to conserve petrol
Arranged car sharing for trip out tomorrow night - off to see a show, very excited!
    Worked hard
    Smiled a lot!

Have had a NSD so far - looking hopeful to continue being an NSD too!

Day off tomorrow, off to a local theme park with nieces and nephew, will hopefully be a sunny day!

    Have a great evening everyone!

    Hello there lovelies :hello:

I'm here, DNMS :) Shall PM you.

Things have been getting a bit stressy here recently - end up leaving home too early to post, working through lunch and then not been in most/any evenings.

One of my best friends has split up with her cheating hubby too so I've been over at hers helping her out/making sure she's eating etc :(

    Small things-wise today:
    • Cheapo porridge brekkie
    • Walking
    • Didn't straighten my hair
    • Got free Lush face mask by taking back 5 old pots :T I am slightly addicted to Lush y'see
    • Staying in tonight
    xx

    Hello

I haven't posted on here for ages, because OH and I have been doing up a house, moving, and then our DD2 got married slap bang in the middle of it all

So, an expensive time all round, and I really need to get focused on saving money again, instead of spending it

On the positive side, it was all budgeted for :D

    So, today I have:

    Packed lunch to work

Offers and reduced bits in supermarket

2 eggs from chickens who have nt been at all fazed by their move:rotfl:

Refund cheque from home old home contents insurance policy in post

Also received money off vouchers from Mr S, presumably because I haven't shopped there for a few weeks

Home grown veg for supper, with some reduced tuna steaks from
    A!dis

A bit of a feeble list, as I have a bad back at the moment - after months of leaping up ladders and hauling furniture upstairs with no ill effects whatsoever, I did something to my back getting a loaf of bread out of the freezer yesterday morning :o but it is a bit better today.

    • haircut tonight :j and cheap as chips at £10 :T
    • [STRIKE]go for a run[/STRIKE] first one in 2 months so fitness levels have decreased :(

    • catch up with yesterday's eastenders on iplayer - I'm addicted! :o
    • [STRIKE]read martin's email[/STRIKE]

that'll do me have a great day everyone. Oh by the way where's La E gone????

best I've done with getting on with my lists in ages!

La E good to see you back here - I miss your sunny disposition when you're not around :A hope everything's ok x

Dawn - hey how are you? Have been wondering how the house move has been going. Is it all you hoped it would be? (excluding the hard work & expense that is! :rotfl:) hope you're happy x

Perni - have you not heard this story before??? I've told it so many times! :o:rotfl:I've got a guy/mobile hairdresser who comes round every 6 weeks, it costs me £10 for a cut & blow dry or £30 for cut & colour. I have curly hair and have had so many nightmares with my hair over the years as most hairdressers think you can cut curly hair the same way you do straight. So when I found him about 4 years ago & he did my hair well I've stayed with him. He's a right flirt so as well as getting my hair done I get a free ego boost. Worth every penny!!!!
