Car Dealer - ? Breach Of Contract
Comments
-
ChopperST is there any way you can find out if dealer sold car to someone else
this seems just as likely and you got screwed over
if this is the case then you have good cause to take him to court for breaking your agreed contract
lets put it this way, if i was you i would be putting my dearstalker on and polishing my magnifying glass
Well every cloud. Hats off to the dealer (Main Audi Dealer but wont mention which). Went in yesterday and dealt with the sales chap who had dealt with me originally. Appologised profusely and agreed they had an obligation to look after me. I am not allowed to disclose the deal I got as officially there are no discounts on the car I bought. But I have been given a £2000 discount on a new car of the same spec I had bought which brings it to near enough the same price as the nearly new car, plus we get a brand spanker.
The dealer has even shown me all the correspondance from the third party to prove he let them down.
To say I was pleasantly suprised is an understatement, well done to the garage for doing the right thing and putting right what was wrong :T
Thanks for the fascinating debate as well!0
