Problems with Keynoir

Hi

I'm interested in hearing people's experiences when using / dealing with Keynoir.

Am aware Martin recently published a blog post on Group buying sites.

Has anyone taken advantage of their 'refer a friend' promotions which take place on selected Fridays?

Having taken part in 2 separate promotions so far, I'm the least bit impressed.

- Questioned on their Facebook page whether I could earn an unlimited number of vouchers, They did not say you couldn't do this until I went ahead and spent several hours referring friends and joining them up to the site. For the next promotion this was apparently OK. Vague answers tend to be posted on their Facebook page in response to member's questions.

- The second promotion I took part in on 12 August 2011 promised a cinema ticket and Wagamama voucher for every new member referred and the referrer. The new members referred were instead sent an email advising they would only receive a cinema ticket. No mention of the Wagamaga voucher and when I emailed them they ignored this question.

- Despite promising vouchers to a particular chain, they often substitute vouchers with others. This is not always practical if you don't live near the substituted chain store and had taken part in the promotion to earn a voucher for that particular business.

- The sign up process is very short and does not require a mailing address. After the promotion on 5 August 2011 I had to email them questioning how they would send out vouchers to the new members without an address. They now claim to have emailed all those applicable yet a number of members I referred are still to hear from them weeks later.

- After speaking with their Marketing Department, I was promised all vouchers earned in the first promotion I took part in would be honored. This was a total of 30 vouchers yet I instead only recieved 10. Upon questioning this, I am told by the person I am communicating with that they personally sent the vouchers (in a black envelope. Interesting seeing as the envelope was actually white). They were apparently all sent in the same envelope. Upon suggesting the vouchers should be canceled, I am told this is not possible.
I'd be surprised if a company had sent vouchers without recording the serial numbers.

I, too, have had problems with Keynoir. They do not even answer my emails although I have sent five of them. Does anyone know an alternative email address where I may be able to find someone further "up the chain" who might care.
