Hi people,
I have seen online that u can buy a single share of the rangers football club for around £20 or £30 and has got me interested but just wondering is there any point In this and is there any benefits to this at all? And after buying the single share does anybody know if its possible to buy more
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I did this as a gift for my husband, he got a gift pack to complete and register the share, which is just an A4 sheet of paper to my untrained eye, lol, which he has framed and it hangs in the hall. He also recieves annual reports and is invited to their AGM. I'm not sure how buying more works as an investment, but it was a nice gift which he seemed happy with.

As a gift. Yes
As an investment no, football clubs run in serious amounts of debt constantly, even the top flight clubs. If banks had the same capital reserves or lack of they would be closed down instantly!0 -
It would seem to be a terrible investment, although as a novelty it might have some value.
If it's supporting the club you're after, you'll probably give them a lot more money by just attending the odd match and paying full price for a ticket
