    I'm not too sure if the meter will be allowed outside, we are a street house...no front garden.
    No problem; it's done every day.

    This is not necessarily the case for the op as there is mains replacement works being done and meters are often moved outside for properties during this dependant on various things which the op needs to discuss with the company doing the works.

    But I do stress this is not always the case as there are many variables during mains works.
    I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.
