    Post on the health board.
    Some opticians get on there.

    Hi,

As has been said (thanks wealdroam) the Health Board may be a better starting point for your query, so I'll move the post across.

    Good luck :)

Have you actually asked for a refund? What did they say?

You should be able to get a refund. I have worn glasses for years and have bad eyesight and my local opticians are very good. I picked a frame once and when it came back it looked awful with my lens and I went back and told them and got a refund and picked another style.

Go for smaller frames with having strong lens as this helps reduce the weight of the lens.

    Hope you get a refund.
  • Definatly ask for a refund. You need to be happy with the glasses especially being so short sighted.

Can I advise you not to go to Vision Express/Asda ect..they will struggle with your prescription. Stick with independent opticians.
