Hi all you lovely techies :-)
My husband just bought himself an Advent desktop computer, it is running windows 7 which neither of us have ever used. Problem is we can't find any dvd burning software, is it still usually supplied with new pcs? If not can you recommend any to use.
TIA

You could also try dvdflick (free) for making video DVD's as distinct from data DVD's
That said, you may find some suitable functionality in Windows Movie Maker?0 -

I think I might have got a bit confused, i think what we want to do is copy cds and dvds rather than making our own and burning them
will these progammes work for that, thanks again and sorry for being a numpty! 0 -
ImgBurn in post 2 will let you copy disc to disc
If you just want to put them on to the PC, or if there is only one DVD Drive, insert the disc, cancel if it auto runs, click start, computer, right click the drive with the disc, click open, click edit, click select all, click edit, click copy to folder, make new folder, name it, click copy
If there is only one DVD drive you would use ImgBurn and the contents of the folder above to put the contents onto another disc0 -
Or for a nice, easy to use program try Ashampoo Burning Studio 6 free here....
https://www.ashampoo.com/uk/gbp/pin/0710/Offline/Ashampoo-Burning-Studio-6
Custom install to avoid the Ashampoo toolbar, homepage etc, and do not register to avoid the spam emails, hope that helps.0
