has anybody successfully added the ESPN offer along side another Sky offer?0

!!!!!!, really I mean !!!!!!!!! I have sports already but rang to upgrade to the free espn, he went ahead to do it and put it on, good stuff!
But instead of putting it on free i'm charged £9 but then get a credit for it at the same time....
Then after putting it on says oh hang on i've just been told there is an error and this deal shouldn't have been there at all, its currently under investigation.
At this point he's already put it on so i've been charged, I am now with I guess maybe espn for free... maybe not lol, I definately wont be paying for it though. The deal is still even on the website now.
The guy kept going quiet for serious long lengths of time, didnt have a pen to take down my details, nothing.
Apparently I will get a call back when they know if they are honouring the deal to people0 -
Do I just apply for the espn £9 offer online? Not quite sure of the URL.
Have gone via quidco but can't see free offer...
Any idea?I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!
Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A0 -
I rang up, on hold for 20 minutes first zzzz, think you can maybe apply online but I wanted to confirm it was free, which I guess didnt help as I still have no idea0

I'm new so be gentle with me!
I've been with sky for years and have had a few deals over the last few years. Phoned yesterday to activate sky sports (I always drop it over the summer as only have it for the footy) got the 6mths half price deal after saying I wanted to cancel too expensive etc etc Once this deal was agreed asked for the ESPN 3mths free, at first they said ok then backtracked and said you've previously had an ESPN deal so nothing available. After a few minutes of haggling with me pointing out that 'new' customers geta better deal than loyal customers he agreed to credit £27 to my account, the equivalent of 3mths free ESPN. Its worth haggling as after it was all agreed he said there were deals available but customers have to ask for them, they can't offer them.
Hope that helps somebody0
