ESPN free for three months to all sky customers with Sports Pack

Advertised last night, free ESPN for 3 months to all Sky subscribers with Sports package. If you only want it for the free 3 months make sure you cancel at the end of the 2nd month as you have to give 31 days to cancel. Ignore the bit on the page where it says you must upgrade, it applies to existing customers also. This is a time limited offer but not sure when expires.

The offer states: get three months ESPN at no extra cost when you join Sky TV with, or upgrade to the Sports Pack - no mention that you can do this if you already have the sports pack ?

Bummer, its bloody annoying when youve been a loyal Sky customer for years and get sod all. All the newies get the bonuses.

Phone Sky CS and complain, long standing customer etc etc, thinking of leaving. Got 6 months at half price and to phone back when the 6 months was up and they would probably extend it for another 6 months - you've got nothing to lose.

    Thanks OP
  • I added this on 12/08 and the £9 charge isn't showing on my account for this month or next month.

Could you copy and paste what it says or a link cos I cant find the T&C's.
    Thanks :)

    EDIT I found it:
ESPN offer: ESPN for 3 months without charge for existing Sky TV customers who already have the Sky Sports Pack or who upgrade to Sky Sports Pack. After offer ends ESPN £9 extra pm for Sky Sports customers (otherwise £12 extra pm). 31 days notice required to remove ESPN. If you change your option during the offer period, you'll pay the full current monthly price for your new option. Offer ends 30 Sept 2011. One offer per household.

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
