Some help please

Yesterday I received a PCN, contravention code 12-parked in a residents or shared use parking place or zone without clearly displaying either a permit or voucher or pay and display ticket issued for that place.

There were signs on both sides of the road on entering the street which I failed to see. There were no other signs or road markings once on the street.

My question is do the road signs at the entrance suffice or should there be some sort of road marking also.

Chances are you were in a CPZ which needs no extra signs for SYL parking but you were parked in a bay so its probable the signs would have to be in each set of bays. Go to pepipoo.com and register on there and post as above. You will need to take pics of the pcn, both sides, and remove identifying bits but leave dates and times. Get pics of bays and the signs to help. Host on tinypic and follow the stickie instruction on that site to show how to post pics.
