I want some cheap travel insurance

I have spent most of the afternoon searching for travel insurance.

Its for 2 adults (both 40), going to spain for 1 week at the end of September. I'm sure I found a quote for £15 somewhere a while ago, but the cheapest I could find was £28.

Can anyone help find it cheaper?

Thanks.

  • Hi,

I was searching last week and wasted loads of time going around in circles.

In the end, I've opened a Premier Plus current account with A&L which offers FREE travel insurance. I'm not suggesting you open such an account purely for that particular perk (I'd been considering changing current accounts for a while and this offer finally convinced me to go for it!), but maybe it's worth checking that you don't already have cover as I know other current accounts offer it (NatWest being one), and perhaps some credit card issuers ???

Thanks me dears! Went with Travel Direct - £20 for the two of us. Saved myself a few pounds - just enough for a couple of ice creams and a bottle of sun lotion!! :D
