Rats stopped using litter box

Hello all,
I've three boys, aged around 19 months, all living in a furret tower. They have been perfectly litter trained for the 7 months I've had them, but the last week or two they have stopped using their litter boxes which is very frustrating! There is a corner litter box on both levels, with megazorb in - this is also their substrate, and always has been.
They get cleaned out regularly, more now than usual as there are little ratty raisins on the base of the cage.
They're getting on but very active, climbing all over the show, and are often on the base of the cage where the litter boxes on playing and generally nosing.
I'm really confused about why this behaviour has kicked in!
Can anyone help me get them back in the bathroom, so to speak?
Have posted on fancyrat forum too but I know there are a few rat owners on here

Mine have all started getting a bit more lax in their toilet habits as they get older, even weeing in their hammocks instead of getting up.
Are they still going in the litterbox? Are they now going everywhere or just in a specific place that isn't the litter tray? I'd say by using the same thing for litter and substrate they have learned that anywhere with megazorb is toilet territory, but as this is new that probably isn't it.0
