2nd Form from Welcome Finance...

Hi everyone

I have filled in a form for my OH's claim (received from the FSCS) and received an acknowledgment saying that we would hear something within 30 days.

However, within a few days of sending the above form I have received a "Complaint Questionnaire" from Welcome direct asking me to fill it in and return it. Do you think this is a duplicate form and I am best waiting the 30 days to hear something further?

Thanks

Vanessa

    Hi Vanessa
I would ring Welcome or the FSCS to check on this, just in case they both require one.
    Good luck on your reclaiming.;)

i only filled in one if that helps (yes for welcome), however i also had a request for proof of id as they were not happy with the difference in name (miss instead of ms!!!) so i went to the trouble of getting a copy of my driving licence certified by a professional only to receive an email half an hour afterwards saying that they didnt need it, i then got an email the following day saying they had received my proof of identify and could now proceed (i hadnt even sent it off!). I think they are wasting time, even tho the letter said they would reach a decision in 30 working days! Im very worried i wont get anything back even tho it was missold! fingers crossed

just a thought but do you think you might have another claim against them which is why FSCS have sent you another form?
