'Impact of Security Suites on System Performance' - new performance tests up at AV-C

AV-Comparitives have the new performance comparisons for Antivirus Suites up, as of August 2011. Essentially these tests are designed to measure how much slow down to expect from installing a particular Antivirus Suite.

Note: These are for the full paid Suites, not for the free versions such as Avira Free, Avast free, AVG free. Microsoft Security Essentials isn't included as they don't class it as a suite (despite it working hand-in-hand with Windows Firewall), but there'll be another performance test in a few months for other antivirus products.

There are no real surprises there other than Kaspersky - looks like they've worked to improve their weaknesses and now have a faster/lighter product. I'd now recommend it to people, especially given how cheap you can pick up keys for it on eBay. The PC Marks results for F-Secure match my own experience of it when I used the trial.
