Cheapest way transfer all landline calls to a mobile

My father runs a small private hire business. He often receives enquiries/orders on his landline (his vehicles and business cards had landline and mobile numbers on up until very recently). Unfortunately my Mother has developed Alzheimers and is no longer able to reliably take messages. Consequently, all landline calls need to be diverted to my Father's mobile. This is currently costing him up to £200 per month on top of his Vodafone contract.
As far as I am aware, his landline is with BT and his mobile on Vodafone.
Does anyone know of a cheaper way to transfer all calls to a mobile?

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
