My puter is sometimes very very slow at loading web pages and sometimes displays either a box with the message:-
Document contains no data
Or, says cannot find site when ie it's the google site ( entered correctly as it's on my tabs)
This does not happen all the time. Sometimes searches are displayed quickly etc. The connection speed of 44 or 38.6 kbps doesn't seem to make any difference.
I'm searching using Firefox and WindowsXP. I'm running AVG, Defender and free Kerio.
Any ideas as what the fault is and if/how I can cure the problem.

Try this:
in address bar, type:
about:config
find the setting called "browser.xul.error_pages.enabled" and set it to true.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

It was set as:- default integer 1
now set as:- user set boolean true
