Does not matter I get on average some 4-5 a week from some Nigerian sitting in an internet Cafe rubbing his hands with glee thinking he has reeled in yet another sap who will lose money with him, so if I save one person from getting robbed at the hands of this idiot then its all good.

For anyone interested in reading about some amazing games played with these scumbags, google "419 eater" and you will find a site where there are many stories, some of which are hilarious.

This scammer must have your real-life contact details, so just drop him. Head over to 419eater.com where you can join other scambaiters and benefit from a good deal of assistance about baiting safely.

It's best to join 419eater (free) and 'scambait' following their tips and advice, and they'll welcome you recounting your exploits. I've been a long time member and you'd be amazed what's possible.

The risks are small but you could lose a valuable e-mail account if the scammer is annoyed enough to 'mail bomb' you. Scambaiting is fun but it's best to learn how to do it safely and without risk. It's simple, common sense and costs nothing.

If the scammer has any of your real life details then it isn't wise to 'scambait' them.
Never ever give your card details to anyone over the phone, and check the reputation of any company you do intend to give them to.

I agree. But if you set up a dedicated email address you can have a bit of fun if that kind of thing floats your boat. Personally I get far too outraged about scams to enjoy scambaiting. I'd explode with apoplexy.
