Insuring a lock up garage

We have recently sold our house and most of our furniture and are left with mainly personal effects and some tools. We are renting a secure lock up garage to store our belongings. We would like to insure the contents. The garage building itself is insured however it is up to us to fnd insurance for the contents. (The garage owner cannot help)
We have tried all the usual avenues including serach engines, high street brokers, The NFU. There are specialist insurers but they will only insure approved storage (Big Yellow Storage etc.) or businessess. It cannot be added to the house insurance as there is no house.
There have been many threads on this topic but as far as I am aware no actual solution. Has any body actually done this that can provide the name of an insurance company or broker.
