The nice lady on the phone told me my use was £20 a week and £5 for debt so i thought well maybe if i have a meater and i see how much is been used ill conserve more .Well i had it fitted 3 weeks ago and have £114 on the meater i put 20 on one week then 40 on next .
I have worked out i use about 50p a day on cooking and bathing us all. Its just when it comes to ch do i leave it on a reg temp of say 18degs or swiching on as and when we need it ?.

At this time of year most people don't run their ch at all, so if you can turn it off you'll save a LOT. Once you do have to turn it on again, perhaps late Oct or early Nov (the later the better) then try to have it set at no higher than 15 and supplement by wearing a jumper in the house, again this will save you a lot of money. Also turn radiators off in any rooms that you are not using.
I may be wrong, but pre-payment meters are on a higher cost tariff I think, so you may have lost out a bit by switching, but if it helps you to budget better then obviously it will still save for you when compared to a standard meter.
If you feel my comments are helpful then I'd love it if you 'Thanked' me!
