Cheapest supplier for gas/elec key meter

Hello

Can anyone tell me the cheapest gas / electric supplier for a key meter.

I know the key meters are more expensive than normal billed meters but we would like to use them as a budgeting aid to avoid nasty shocks.

We live in the north east of england.

thanks.

Not british gas for gas and not E-on for electricity.

Depending on usage try Utilita, Spark or Ebico. Of the big 6 try EDF or Npower.

As you won't get duel fuel discounts I'd go with a different supplier for the gas and a different one for the electricity. You will save money. Based on average usage I estimate £612 for Gas with Utilita and £401 for Electricity with Spark.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

I disagree completely with HappyMJ, in northe ast cheapest elec will be BG or EDF, and cheapest gas will be eon. Npower have just announced an increase which will affect their position on the comparison sites and their rates are really dear in your region unless a low user.
  • Thanks for your replys, have been looking into the suppliers you mentioned.

I am now thinking about getting dual fuel from one supplier (for discounts) and paying a fixed d.d

Still looking for the best deal.
