Oggie snowsports online shop - Avoid

Hi all,

Recent to my last post, i have an updated rant about the online snowsports shop OGGIE.CO.UK

I bought a snowboard from them last year, they lost the order and delayed delivery, then when it arrived they left over £200 worth of board equipment in a public place, only by the grace of god nobody stole it.

I complained, got a 'sorry'.

Recently i saw they had a sale on, purchased 3 nice beanies and some wax for my impending trip to Austria. They took the money from my bank on the 25th, still no delivery by 4th January.

I called them and they cant find the order, when they do, they inform me their warehouse was closed till 2nd Jan.
There was no mention of this closure on their website, yet all they say is 'we can only apologise'.

I called them the afternoon of the 4th Jan and asked them where my items were, they said they were dispatched and would be with me on the 5th. I informed them i would be at work (just 5 minutes away) and could they drop the package to me there, they said this would incur a further £5 delivery charge.

I get home from work and theres a card, saying i have to collect the package 40 miles away at the delivery depot.
Annoyed, i drive and collect, only to find the iciing on the cake, half of my order is missing, out of stock.

I call them, asking why they are selling goods and taking money for items they dont have in stock. They tell me they are trying to source the items from alternative suppliers. I look at their website which says the items i have ordered are actually IN STOCK.
I give up.

Ive waited 14 days, had the money taken from my account straight away, not been informed about their warehouse closure, had a failed delivery, driven 40 miles to collect, recieved half my items and been left without essential items ive paid for, for my holiday that they say are out of stock when they are still selling them on the website.
Thats the last time i use OGGIE.CO.UK

Note to moneysavers, i wouldnt trust their website availability of items.
Note their crazy delivery charges £4.95 economy delivery even if youve ordered a £2 beanie, 2 day delivery £10, next day £15.
Dont expect to be treated respectfully when you call them to chase your items and basically dont expect a decent service.
