How will i find out if i ever paid PPI?? I don't have any paper reference from old accounts but do have access to my credit report. Where do i look?? I know i had a Topshop store card about 10years ago which i might of had PPI on? and i student barclaycard - however this defaulted, would that matter?? Also had Ford Finance - again don't know if i paid it??
Is this all to vague for help??
Thanks

If its on a credit card or store card then look at your statement as its a monthly payment.
Remember that there is nothing wrong with having PPI. It is how it was sold or set up that matters. So, what would your mis-sale complaint be?I know i had a Topshop store card about 10years ago which i might of had PPI on?
If the account is closed and long gone then you may have trouble finding out if you have no copy statements. You can ask them but they are destroy the data on closed accounts.and i student barclaycard - however this defaulted, would that matter??
its it defaulted, then you wont get a payout even if you had it and were successful as you owe them money. Not the other way around. They can use any redress payment towards the debt owed. Also had Ford Finance - again don't know if i paid it??

I had the topshop card when i was a student - do vaguely remember paying £5 roughly more a month incase i got ill etc. Not sure whether that is mis selling?? Its not on my credit report any more though
probably too late now.
The default to barclaycard is paid off - would that make a difference?? can u literally ring them and ask if u paid PPI and take it from there?? Thanks x0
