    No duty free when travelling within the EU.

    If the cruise port is the same as the ferry port no there isnt a duty free shop or indeed any kind of gift shop.

    As far as I know there is nothing cheaper in Ireland!! Diesel used to be!

    If you are doing your own thing in Dublin I can recommend the hop-on, hop-off bus which we used in June. Book the tickets online and save 20%- it takes you round the major sites of central Dublin in about 1 & half hours and you can get off and on as many times as you want. Hope you are not going on a Monday (like us) as the major museums which are free are closed that day!

  • No duty free when travelling within the EU.

    If your cruise stops at at least one port outside the EU then the journey will be duty free and you can buy on board. You can also buy duty free on arrival in Guernsey as the whole island is a different tax status to the UK.
