When you deal with the DVLA never put your phone number on any form it is not a legal requirement as when a PPC gets the info and you put your number down they will have that too.0 -

So by filling in the C01 you don't get cold calling from companies. But, you have to write to DVLA to remove contact no. from their database.0

To stop cold calling you will have to register with The Telephone Preference Service. It works, i hardly get any at all now and when i do i tend to have a little fun with them, strangely they never ring back !
Not sure how you go about removing your number from DVLA though.0 -
