Hi - has anyone recently come back form Mexico

What currency did you use? We have been told not to take travellers cheques or dollars, but last time we were there that was all the Mexicans really wanted.

Also what is the current exit tax fee?

Currency is the Peso

I came back at the end of june, they take pesos and still take dollars, I used Pesos everywhere, there was no issues, I also took some dollars, which I ended up using on the departure tax for us (59 USD / 700 Pesos). There is a limit on how many US dollars you can take in the country, but i don't recall what this is!
