Paying off my US credit cards with money from my UK account?

Hi all
I lived in the US for many years but am now working in the UK. I still have a bank account in the US and a credit card that I need to pay off. I have a plan to pay this off over the next 12 months, but need to figure out a way to use the money I earn in the UK to pay off my US card.
I don't think there's a way to pay straight from my UK account to the US credit card account, but correct me if I'm wrong. Is there a cheap way to transfer money monthly to my US account so I can pay it off from there?
Thanks

A monthly international payment will cost you in the region of £20 per month - + the US bank might take a cut before applying the funds to your card.0

so what would you recommend? perhaps i should make my priority paying off this card, as the $20 extra per month is a hell of an interest rate.0

I would have thought about that BEFORE leaving the country to be honest.
Do you not have any savings that you can use to finish this card off in one hit?0 -
no, or that would've been an obvious choice...
great to know what you would have done in my situation several years ago...but any insight into what i could do going forward?0 -
If you can pay it by Debit Card maybe try a FairFx/Caxton Card mentioned under the Travel Money Section get the one with no fees and best exchange rate and load that card to pay the bill to avoid fees?0

If the amount is small, how about using paypal, who charge 3.9% + 10p per transaction
