Techincally yes, plus a fairly chunky handling charge. Some items arrive with no charges, but always best to assume it will be stopped and charged correctly.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. if the shipment is stopped then yes you will then need to pay any custom fees etc.
I had a similar situation (not on ebay) my brother ordered some UGG boots from UGG, australia, then arrived fine, but then my parents decided to get their grand daughter a pair as they had a special offer on, but rather than the boots they received a letter from customs saying these boots had arrived, but you will need to pay this invoice to have them released. i think the invoice for the duty was £27, so the special offer was not so special.0 -
dam, i know someone else who brought the product and said he didnt pay anything.
