Taking a mobility aid on a Jet2.com flight

My mum has recently started using a tri walker mobility aid to help her get around. We are due to fly with Jet2.com in October and she wants to take this with her. According to their website they will take up to 2 mobility aids in the hold at no extra cost, however it doesnt say if she can take this through airport security and into departures (so she can use it in the airport), if this is allowed does someone take it off her as she boards the aircraft and is it then put in the hold? I was hoping to email Jet2 but cant find their email address and their telephone number costs 60p per minute. So looking on here for any answers and advice.

I would imagine they will let you use it in the Airport, however when you start boarding they should get one of the ground crew to come and take it off you and help you board the Aircraft, then they will put it on the hold once your on the Aircraft.0
