Company not collected Replcaed Item!

Hi All,

I hope i'm in the right section this is my first post!

I purchased a Projector a few months back and at the time I thought I had a fault with the unit, so I contacted the company I purchased the projector from and they agreed to pick-up the old unit and replace with a new one on the same day.

The new Projector was delivered and I tried to give the old one to the driver, but he informed me he hadn't been instrusted to collect anything.

I contacted the company and thanked them for sending out a new unit and also mentioned the old one hadn't been collected, I was told he would get back to me to arrange a collection.

Well it's been 3 weeks now and I've heard nothing, they have my e-mail, mobile no. and address so they can get in touch if they wanted too.

I've discovered the Projector I originally had is not actually faulty and it's a common issue with LCD Projectors, so as it stands I have 2 fully functional units.

My real question is how long should I wait before I think about selling the other one? As I said I've heard nothing for 3 weeks! If I was to sell the other one after say 2 months, if they did happen to contact me would they have any legal rights to do so considering how long I've been storing it for?

Selling it are you serious, What gives you right to think you can sell the item.

doesn't the company have a telephone number or addres which you could arrange delivery back to them.

as they will give you plenty of advice as what to do.

The 2nd link is really aimed at businesses who have customers goods, but provided you do as suggested you shouldn't have any problems.
