sorry i'll make things a bit clearer.
On a website like this one.. look at the left bar. You have a link for credit cards right? this is linked to the following url:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/creditcards
That would appear in the URL bar.
Now if you wanted you could like it to https://www.mydomain.com/creditcards.
You could then set up a forward for your domain which forwards mydomain.com/creditcards to the moneysavingexpert one.
Then you could link it to mydomain.com/creditcards and that would appear in the URL bar instead of the moneysavingexpert one. Its a long winded thing but it means your own domain appears on every page.
Its easier to get a domain and hosting package joint though
