October Half Term

Looking for some sunshine in October - but during the dreaded half term week comm 22nd Oct.
Thinking Canaries / Cyprus to keep travel time down for ur little one but open to great ideas / experience.
Two adults, and two children: a six year old and a one year old. Happy to pay (within reason) for luxury, but wanting daytime flights from Manchester.
Any ideas, top tips (with the exception of - "you should have booked earlier
) would be greatly appreciated.
Appreciate this is a bit vague but struggling to find anything and hoped someone might have the answer(s)
