Can any one please help before I have to ring my bank to find out! I have within the last month had to take a career break from work to care for my husband who has terminal lung cancer. I have PPI on a Barclays loan (which I am about to put in a claim as it was in my opinion mis-sold, pressure selling)!, can I claim on my PPI as I have to had to give up work to become a carer or can I cancel my PPI to help lower my outgoings. This of course is dependant on my mis-sold claim being rejected! Also my PPI is listed as a "premium loan" on the agreement is this also known as single premium payment. I would be most grateful for any help as im worried sick about money.
Many thanks

PPI is normally specific to the health of the individual covered, not that of somebody they might have to care for.
However, if it was a single premium then a complaint is most likely to be upheld.0
