Hi,
Have booked 1 week at Bellagio departing from Heathrow flying with AA 11th Feb 2012, 2 adults.
It will be our 1st time visiting Las Vegas & 1st kid free holiday.
What are best attractions?
I am so excited :j it's a place I've always wanted to go.
Any advice?

carry around a bottle of water with you, it's quite a shock wondering from comfortable air con to murderous desert heat. Other advice is see a show (they are ace) and when you go out to gamble take out some cash and leave your credit/debit card in the room. That way if it all goes pear shaped you wont be so tempted to run off to an ATM for more moolah!0

I'd say do a cirque de soleil show, do a breakfast buffet, visit the old vegas strip, for cheap drinks, stratosphere.
I dont know what your comedy style is, but if you like a very un-pc laugh, then Vinnie Favorito at the Flamingo is a good bet, we got our tickets cheap with discount leaflet, so look around for all your trips and tickest when you are there.
Just walking up and down the strip is good fun too.
Enjoy!0 -
If you're there for a week, I'd definitely do a day trip to the Grand Canyon. I've only ever been to Vegas for 3 days at a time and that has felt like enough - it's an amazing place but I think half way through the week you'll feel ready for a day out.
Wander in and out of all the different themed casinos, go on the rollercoaster in New York New York, go up the 'Eiffel Tower' in Paris, etc...you'll have a great time and find it very easy to fill the days!
I have been to Vegas twice and am going again next week but it's only ever been a couple of days as part of a bigger road trip, as it also is this time. This time we're planning to just eat a lot, drink a lot, gamble (NOT a lot!), try and see a show (don't really mind what...whatever we can get cheap tickets for), and wander up and down the strip, going in to whatever takes our fancy.
Have an amazing time - you must be very excited

Wont be to much heat in FEbruary.
OP please check the sticky Vegas thread, everything you want to know is on page 1, anything else just ask0 -
SOOOOOOOOOO much you could do, just depends on your taste!!
- As other people have said, Grand Canyon would be worth going to if you are there for a week
- Look around as many of the hotels as poss as they all have something to see or do (eg. shops, aquariums, zoo's, roller coasters)
- Def go up the Stratosphere for dinner and for the views at the top outside where the rides are
- Def go to a cirque du soleil show & any other shows eg. penn & teller, david copperfield or anyone/thing else thats on at the time
- Def go to "the sign" for photo's
- Bellagio is gorgeous, make sure you walk though the whole hotel, the gardens etc
- Paris' Eiffel Tower is good if you fancy a different view of the strip
- Go to the old strip
- Rollercoaster at New York New York
- M&M's world is just a massive M&M's shop but worth a pop in if you fancy it!
Message me if you want more details, i went to Vegas in April this year for a wedding (which was on the terrace in Bellagio)

No tips as yet, but I'm sure I'll have some when I return from my honeymoon

I definitely agree with the posters referring to the sticky about Vegas - you can spend hours researching and getting sidetracked!!0 -
