Hipp Goodnight milk - thoughts?

Does anyone have any opinions on this? Our little one is just over 6 months, and he's terrible at night. Maximum he sleeps is about 3 to 4 hours in one go (at best!), and is often up every hour or two.
We think it's worth a try so we're definitely going to buy it, just wondered if anyone had any thoughts.
Thanks

We've a 17mnth who didnt sleep too well either, we tried the Hip milk & TBH it did work better he started to sleep a little more until he finally slept through the night...he did though after a while go off the stuff & refused to drink it..now before bedtime he has some toddler formula & thats itWe all die. Watch out - i got a load of samples of it when my daughter was around the same age, maybe a little older 7 or 8 months and it made her REALLY sick, i tried her once and she didn't keep it down and i tried it again a month or so later and the same again i felt terrible but hadn't been sure that that was what caused it. She has never been a sicky baby maybe it just disagreed with her but beware!0

It might depends why the baby is waking up! If the baby waking up hungry through the night? Or is just using the milk for comfort? Or is it just out of habit? As if its for habit or comfort then it wont make any difference. Its only really to make them feel fuller so they sleep better.mum to; Two Boys (Non id twins)Two Girls (Id twins)0

It made my baby sleep less in total and wake up more through that time. The C&G stage 2 hungry milk worked well for us though.Debt free as of July 2010 :j

Good points, and ones I have considered! I suspect he is waking up out of habit and then having comfort feeds, rather than being hungry. So yes, it may not work, but we'll try anything right now!!0 -
I found it to be too thick for my daughter to drink so I used half that and half her normal Hipp (purple box) formula. Seemed to help.First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.0

I struggled to get my little one to sleep above 3 or 4 hours at night so you have my sympathies. He is now 13 1/2 months & sleeps 7pm to 6:30am most nights & has done the majority of the time for the last few months.
Have you started solids yet?
My friend used the goodnight drink with her little boy & it helped him sleep better. I would say give it a try, nothing to lose.SOA = Statement of Affairs (to find a SOA Calculator, google 'make sense of cards' & click on calculators tab > Statement of Affairs)0 -
When my son was younger we used to crush up a rusk and put it in his night time bottle when he never settled, it worked a treat!0
