I am a bullion dealer myself. Their customer service is appauling, they do not call or communicate with you.
I ordered 40 1/2 silver libertads for a client as a test and 25 arrived within a week, 2 weeks later I haven't heard of anything from them regarding the other 15. I have called numerous times a day and each day being told I will get a call back with a solution, guess what? Still nothing.
I do not think they are dishonest or scammers, just unorganised and amateurish.0 -
Au Trading it's the worst bullion dealer I know in Europe. They claim they ship from inside EU, then they send you your orders breaked in few packages, instead of everything together, and they ship sometimes from Switzerland, than you can have problems like in my case, I'm from Portugal, so customs asked me to pay a huge value, I didn't went to pickup and asked refund, so 3 months, and still nothing, they don't reply to my emails, on the phone they tell me to send emails and that they will resolve the problem. So I went on their facebook exposed the situation, they deleted the comment and blocked comments on their facebook wall... really I'm telling you don't buy from this guys... they own my almost 500 euros, I'm going for the 4th month of this hell!! I'm contacting the BBB from US because they are a company from US originally, also contacted the UK european consumer office so they try to get my money back.. if you don't want trouble: Stay away from this guys.0

I have used Autrading a few times and never had an issue (from UK).
My first use of them was in around March 2013 and have placed a number of orders from them. I first read all the T&C's and saw that the hard material is stored overseas and is exclusive of VAT. At times, they are down to 6% above spot value - so its no surprise to see that and should be something that anybody interested in investing (to any degree) should be aware of.
Everytime I have ordered, it has gone through the payment process showing clearly delivery and VAT charges. If EITHER of them are not included or shown, then question this before placing your order.0 -

What a disgusting attitude you have to think that. In fact, having just checked, you'd not even contributed to this thread at all until I posted and your only contribution is to not add your experience, but to question my integrity. Just who on earth do you think you are to do that? I haven't seen you question others, why me? Just because it is my first post...well, that's because I've not felt obliged to comment on anything else yet.
I joined the forum because I came across this thread which asked if people had experience of purchasing from AU Trading, for which most have had positive experience. I have also had a positive experience and felt obliged to contribute.
Thankfully, I don't have to check with self obsessed people like you first. Get over yourself. If you have something to actually contribute to this thread, do so. Otherwise, don't you dare sit there and call people out just because it happens to be their first post. Muppet
Edit - I also note that somzok's first and only post was to criticise AU Trading but you didn't say anything about that, nobody has. He obviously felt obliged to join to give a negative view; i did so for a positive view.0 -
What a disgusting attitude
"he doth protest too much"...this thread which asked if people had experience of purchasing from AU Trading, for which most have had positive experience.
In fact the score was 4-1 against buying anything from them, until you felt the urge to join MSE and sing their praises.'We don't need to be smarter than the rest; we need to be more disciplined than the rest.' - WB0
