in IVA & DRO
I only joined the forum as I had utility issues and stumbled across this forus too.....
I had an IVA set up in June 09, less than a year later it failed as it just wasnt realistic it was pushed through in 6 weeks and to be honest I was so relieved that BR wasnt my only answer that I think I would of signed up for anything.
So does anyone know what happens from here on in? It failed in March last year and I have not heard a thing from anyone. Not a jot. not letters no phone calls nothing.
The thing being is I now live my life waiting for the harrasment to start again that sickening feeling when the phone rings has returned.
I really really wish I had gone bankrupt right from the start the chances are it will of been all over and done with, I am now left not being able to afford the £700 it is going to cost me to do so as I have nothing at all left from my outgoings witht he cost of food, utilities, petrol rising I am so much worse of now than I was 2 year ago.
Any advise would be appreciated
thanks in advance

Hi. What level of debt do you have ? I am afraid the companies will, more than likely, catch up with you eventually, so you should work out some plan of action sooner rather than later.0

Hi, I know need to sort something, the orginal sum was for around £32k so I am guessing it will of incurred interest for the last 18mths that my IVA has failed. My car finance finishes in Aug 12 and I was hoping I could save my bankruptcy fees by then so I can get it sorted asap. I checked with Renault finance to see if they would let me carry on with the aggrement once i went br they said no, they also said they wouldn't let me if I went into IVA but they had not done anything about it up to that point a year after I had gone into IVA.
I do need my car I have not been able to drive for the last 4 months due to health reasons and living 3 mile away from any shops has been rather tricky for things like bread and milk . I do need the car for work and to save money on childcare costs. My car is probably only worth around £1700 now so should be ok for the value threshold.
Everything is such a mess
