Sick hen. Help!

When my last hen was poorly I spent a fortune on things I thought might help. There is a poo chart somewhere on the net which gives you an indication of the problem if she's passed anything recently. There's also an instant remedy which I have somewhere but can't find to give the name. Think it works over 24hours even in very poorly hens. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Ah, found it. Poultry Nutri Drops http://www.chicken-house.co.uk/acatalog/Nettex_poultry_nutri_drops.html . Couldn't find it locally and arrived too late for me but held in standby for my other girls. Where abouts are you? Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Thanks so much but I can't tell her poo from the others.Living on Earth can be expensive, but it does include an annual free trip around the Sun.0 -

Just checked on her. Seems a tad better. Crop felt OK. So knackered now myself can barely type. Will look into this but just want to see Miss Williams ( named after a redoubtable elderly lady of sharp wit but utter gentility who I adored) survive.
I was close to taking her into bed with me until she farted with such resounding pungence I decided I was mad....Living on Earth can be expensive, but it does include an annual free trip around the Sun.0 -

Hope the chicken made it through xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

With sick hawks you can use an eye dropper of rescue remedy in the corner of the beak. But I dono anything about hens, will no doubt have that to come on day when mine get ill.0

She's still alive but barely. Not eating, drinking, pooping or moving just standing and blinking. It doesn't look good. I've isolated her and will check the coop for mites then go and get some Nopex which is supposed to sometimes pull a poorly hen through.Living on Earth can be expensive, but it does include an annual free trip around the Sun.0

It could be lice, there are some...which don't live on the hens but in the coop and straw, they are nocturnal so bite during nightime, and gradually make the hens Ill.
Have the eggs got tiny blood flecks on them?
Is her comb grey coloured or less pink/red than it would normally be?
Feather loss could be quite normal at this time of year, and are you quite sure the eggs being laid are from her?
I have heard marmite on toast is a great pick me up for poorly hens, perhaps it might tempt her.
Best of luck x0
