Smelly water ?

Hi guys over the last month or so every other time we use the sink tap or the shower in our en suite we get a very strong eggy smell, it doesn't seem as if it's blocked and I'm not quite sure if it's coming from the actual water itself - It seems to be getting worse and more frequent, I'm no plumber by any means, any you guys have an idea what this could be ?
Thanks
Thanks

My friend had a similar problem. T the plumber found a huge hairball in the sink trap and also had to replace the trap because it was letting smells back up. There was a technical explanation but that was the gist of it.0

Cheers, yeah that was my first idea - to clean out the tubes underneath the sink and shower and see how it goes, they where draining a bit slowly not too long go until i put some stuff down it to take away blockages and it seem to do the job but its started to get slower again, i read something on another site saying something about Hydrogen Sulfide from bacteria can cause the water to have the eggy smell, doesn't sound too good, gonna clean these tubes out in the morn. The only real security that a man can have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience and ability.0

Change the trap for a Anti Vac type.
Use some drain cleaner as well.0 -
